Short CV

Stefan is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the Distributed Systems Group (DSG) at TU Wien, Austria. He received his Dr. Tech. degree (equivalent PhD), from the TU Wien in 2016, with a thesis titled: “Programming, Provisioning and Governing IoT Cloud Systems”. He received his Master's degree in Software Engineering & Internet Computing in 2012 and B.Sc. degree in Software & Information Engineering in 2010, from Vienna University of Technology. His main research interests include: Internet of Things and Edge Computing; Big Data Analytics; Cloud Computing; and Smart Cities.

Stefan is currently involved in ERA-NET SMART-FI EU project, where he is the leader of TUW's effort. Previously, he has been involved in several EU-funded research projects such as U-Test and SM4ALL, as well as, large industrial projects such as the multimillion Pacific Controls Cloud Computing Lab (PC3L).
